The Vegan Wardrobe
The Vegan Wardrobe is a platform that advocates sustainable, ethical and cruelty-free lifestyle choices. With its foundation deeply rooted in the idea of giving back to the planet, we believe in equal rights for both animals and humans. The initiative strives for fair trade, labour rights, ethically sourced products, supporting local ventures, reducing the carbon footprint and ending speciesism. The Vegan Wardrobe believes that the fashion and beauty industry needs to take pause and rethink.
How it began?
My sister and I were always worried about animals being killed for clothing and cosmetics. We have always believed that animals are to be loved not worn or experimented on. A result of which is The Vegan Wardrobe started in 2016. Our joint venture which helps us (you and I) consciously pick clothing that doesn’t involve animal cruelty.
While working on it, we discovered various other malpractices that were a hidden part of the fashion industry. Which is why our initiative is constantly reshaping. With an approach to constantly unlearn, learn and relearn in order to be conscious and responsible.
